Job Management Software

Job management software for UK contractors

Our job management software brings enquiries, jobs, costs, evidence and invoicing into one controlled place, so the office and site work from the same picture. It is a configurable foundation set up around how your business runs, not a product you bend your work to fit.

Who it is for. Construction, telecoms and field-service businesses whose jobs run on spreadsheets, paper and message threads.

Where the work gets stuck

  • Job status lives in someone's head, a spreadsheet or a message thread.
  • Completed work waits for paperwork before anyone can invoice it.
  • Nobody can say what a job has cost, or what margin it is making, until it is over.
  • Photos, certificates and sign-offs are scattered across phones and inboxes.

What is available now, and what is built for you

In the foundation today
  • Enquiry, quote and job intake
  • Job allocation and scheduling
  • Status, cost and margin visibility
  • Job notes, documents, evidence and approvals
  • Quality, safety and ISO-related records and actions
  • A smoother handover from completed job to invoice
Built to your requirements

Not off-the-shelf features. Each is scoped per project.

  • Variations tracking
  • Cost value reconciliation (CVR) reporting
  • Site forms
  • Photo evidence capture
  • Subcontractor workflows
  • Payment applications

A job board built from made-up data. Each row shows a job's stage and its invoice status. No real customer data is ever shown.

What you should see in the business

  • One current view of the status of every job
  • Cost and margin visible while work is in progress, not only afterwards
  • Evidence and approvals attached to the job they belong to
  • A more controlled route from completed work to invoice
  • Quality and safety records and actions that are easier to find and follow up

Does this look like how your business runs today?

What shapes the cost of this system

A full job management set-up can sit in a Business System. A narrower first step, such as basic job tracking, may fit a Starter System.

  • Starter System Digitising one focused process.
  • Business System Several connected workflows working together.

Hosting and support are agreed with you up front. We don't publish figures for them because they depend on what is built.

Tell us about your process in the form. We reply to set up a short conversation to talk through the scope level that fits and what it is likely to cost.

What moves the cost

  • How many job types, approval steps and users the workflow has
  • Whether variations tracking, CVR reporting, site forms or photo evidence are built to your requirements
  • Which accounting or other systems it has to connect to
  • How much existing job data has to be brought across

From first conversation to day-to-day use

01

Understand the process

We map how enquiries become jobs and jobs become invoices today, including the exceptions, and where that causes friction.

02

Design around you

We agree what the job management software needs to control, and which pieces would be built to your requirements rather than taken from the foundation.

03

Show the proposed solution

You see the proposed job flow on example screens built around your scenario before anything is built.

04

Build and test in stages

We set up the foundation first, then add the pieces your requirements call for, testing each stage with you.

05

Support rollout and adoption

People move onto the system in an order that suits the business, and we host and support it as the way you work changes.

Why cash gets stuck

Where cash gets stuck

When jobs, paperwork and finance are disconnected, cash gets stuck.

  • Office and site see different job status
  • Paperwork and sign-offs arrive late
  • Finance waits for evidence to invoice
  • Costs and margin are unclear until the end
  • ISO actions sit outside the work
  1. 01Completed work
  2. 02Slow, paper-heavy invoicing
  3. 03Overdue invoices
  4. 04Aged debt
  5. 05Chasing customers
  6. 06Cash-flow pressure

Not sure where to start? That is what the review is for.

Questions people ask

Is this an off-the-shelf product?

It is a configurable foundation. The core covers job intake, scheduling, cost and margin visibility, evidence, quality records and the handover to invoice. Anything beyond that, such as variations tracking or subcontractor workflows, is built to your requirements and scoped separately.

Can it replace our spreadsheets?

It can, for the parts of the process that spreadsheets are covering today. We start by mapping what the spreadsheets actually do, then agree what moves into the system and what stays where it is. Bringing existing data across is scoped per project.

Does it help with ISO 9001 or ISO 45001?

It gives you a controlled place for quality and safety records, actions and evidence, which supports readiness. Certification itself is awarded by an independent certification body, and using the job management software does not mean you will be certified.

Can I see it before committing?

There is no live public demo. The example screen on this page uses made-up data. Before anything is built for you, you see the proposed flow laid out around your own scenario.

Who owns the data?

You keep your business data and the right to use your configured system. SENRAB retains ownership of the underlying platform.
